Normally I don’t write posts on Sunday but I’m making an exception today because this is the start of National Library Week and also the launch week for our newest title in our series of resources for incorporating reading fiction into the FACS curriculum. Each day this week, April 13-19, I will be publishing a post sharing the importance and benefit of reading fiction in FACS as well as instructional strategies for building your own FACS reading program.
We will wrap up the week with a Q & A with Kathryn Williams, author of Pizza, Love, and Other Stuff That Made Me Famous. This is the novel on which Four-Course FACS, A Culinary Fictional Adventure is based. This Q & A was created exclusively for Fresh FACS and was written specifically for use by FACS teachers and their students.
I hope you’ll follow this blog post series as you make plans to add a reading component to your FACS curriculum!
