October 2013 calendar I think it’s fun to link FACS classroom activities to some of the wacky and wonderful “holidays” that relate to food and other FACS topics.  Every month features its fair share of FACS designations, but October has something nearly every day, as you can see by the notations on the calendar above.  And we can’t forget the special designations for the entire month.  There are a few weeks that are special, too.  So get out your calendars or cell phones out and mark these dates down so you don’t forget to celebrate!  Your students will thank you!
